Executive Team
Michael Zwonitzer is a member of the executive management team, and provides financial stewardship ensuring the Foundation operates all financial, accounting and compliance activities with integrity and transparency

Mike is currently Senior Vice President of Finance for AMC Entertainment Inc. (AMC), one of the world’s largest movie theater chains, where he oversees AMC’s financial planning, research and analysis functions, as well as investor relations.  Mike began his AMC career in 1998 as manager of financial reporting, then became manager of finance in 2000, and promoted to the director role in 2002.  In 2004, Mike was then named Vice President, and advanced to his current position of Senior Vice President in 2009.

During his AMC tenure, Mike has been involved in numerous major financial transactions and initiatives, including acquisitions of the General Cinemas and Loews and Kerasotes theatre chains as well as the company’s transition from being publicly traded to privately held.

A native of Missouri, Mike currently resides in Kansas City.  He is an avid University of Missouri football fan and lived in Saint Thomas.  Mike also has an aunt that is a proud breast cancer survivor and lost a close friend to brain cancer

He graduated with a bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Missouri, and obtained his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
